Bus from Fort McMurray to Calgary: Tickets & Schedules

First and foremost, I had a miss call from rider express office, after returning the call they informed me of some changes and assured me that it would not affected my trip home. On January 8,2026 I started my journey home from fort McMurray to Calgary, once I got to Edmonton I realized that the 3:30pm bus was 30 minutes late, so I called the rider express office only to be told that the 3:30pm bus is cancelled. The customer rep was more focused on the missed call when they tried to reach me but I told her that I did return the call and spoke to someone and they assured me that my trip would not be affected. Howerever she rebooked me on 6:30pm bus which was also late. So no, I didn’t enjoy this trip.

It was good but it was really difficult for me to locate the location for the bus from Calgary to Edmonton for today so I had to re book another bus

The second part of my journey was cancelled so i had to book a later time for that extending my trip by 4 hours. Then the bus was 45 minutes late. At the rest stop the bus bathroom was in use and the driver said we arent having a break because he had to drive back after he droppes us off. When i said its not fair he told me he would call the police cause i talk to much. Ive been taking rider express for 8 months. By far my worst experience. Will never ride with them again

Great service. Clean and comfortable buses. All the staff I encountered were very helpful. Our driver Gary from the Fort McMurray to Edmonton leg of the trip was very helpful, kind, and a very safe driver.

Bus from Edmonton to calgary had no air conditioning. And I didn't expected to wait 2 hours for transfer. Please next time give a warning and squedule

Very comfortable

We were super delayed, late by almost an hour and a half. seats were super squished and it was super cold the entire ride even after asking if the heat can be put up.

Bus ride was good, I liked that there were enough stops to use the bathroom and get food. My only complaint would be having a bathroom on the bus just in case.

It was a great ride the driver was so careful while driving and maintained the speed limit he was also patient with me during the stop to warm up my food

Fort McMurray To Edmonton Bus: wifi worked only intermittently but driver was nice to call out ETA to various stations near Edmonton ; Edmonton to Calgary Bus: wifi didnt work and driver as well as station was informed of the problem, but still they never reset or restarted the wifi connection to see if problem can be fixed, also driver didnt call out ETA to station near calgary so for first time bus rider it was hard to gauge exact arrival.

The whole trip was good, just only we were supposed to have coffee, water and snacks, thru the trip, but there was nothing

The first bus driver was amazing and had great communication! The second bus driver could work on his communication though
