The trip never made it to the destination as the bus incurred a broken belt approximately 20 minutes into the trip. The driver needed to call for help and the passengers were informed that they would have to wait another 1.5 hours for the next bus. Fortunately I was able to have a friend pick me up and take me to my destination.
Driver and employees at bus pick up location were great, but the departure time was to be 9:55 am, and didn't leave until 10:55 am.
i tried several times to reschedule as i booked the wrong date but got no satisfactory resaponse. i have already rebookewd, so this trip costs me double.

Rider Express Red Deer Calgary recent customer reviews
I was at Tim Horton at 10am. for the 10:30am bus. I don't know if the bus parked behind the restaurant or what but he certainly didn't park where they usually do. I had been standing in front of the building looking for the bus, but I missed it because it was parked in the wrong spot. The next thing I knew he was headed back out to the highway.
Rider Express was the best bus ride I’ve had in a while. The driver was very friendly and professional. The ride was smooth and we got to the destination on time.
driver was knowledgeable and everything went well. except the bus arrived 20 minutes after the schedule. can't see how the driver could fix that, something wrong with the schedule stops in Calgary
According to customer reviews, the bus service has received positive feedback for its friendly staff and great service. However, there have been complaints about delays and lack of communication regarding late arrivals. Additionally, some passengers mentioned confusion when it comes to seating arrangements for new passengers. Despite these issues being mentioned in multiple reviews, overall satisfaction with the service remains high.
The Canada Bus Red Deer Calgary recent customer reviews
We were quick to getting moving/driving on the road. The bus kept crossing the lines on the highway a little too much. The driver made a scaring move - nearly missed the exit and swirved the bus over the many white lines.
The bus was late for 15 mins, but the weather was bad, so can't complain. Besides that, everything was okay
The journey was a smooth ride. Didn't know when we got to Calgary. It was just like I was cooking off in my sofa at home.
