Bus from Cape Town to Mthatha: Tickets & Timetables

The bus kept on getting stuck. We were supposed to arrive at 10:30, but we only arrived in Mthatha at 14:15

Nothing I didn't enjoy Everything was on point Fast and i arrive on time so i was happy as such I'm happy

I booked 19:00 bus from Cape town I was suppose to be at umtata by 11:10 but the bus from cape town was very late we only left cape town at 20:05 instead of 19:00

I’m very disappointed…We were supposed to arrive at 06h45 but instead we arrived at 11h30

APM compromised our lives and made us wait for a bus for 5 hours in the middle of nowhere. We need an apology

There's absolutely nothing I enjoyed, i booked a bus that was supposed to depart 06h00 pm but the bus did not come at all until we were organised special bus that departed 09h00 pm. I realised the was hired to take us and the drop us in Laingsburg, from there we had to wait for the APMWC bus that was coming from EasyPay. We had to wait for 00:34 am up until 03h11 am

Very bad, the bus left , on the bus station ,your workers told me my bus was comin 30 minutes later. I had to take uber to rush after the bus I paid R700 for that uber

Inconvenience in the time of departure the bus left us earlier before the the time we booked

I don't even know where to start, yho the driver was very rude shouting at passengers... by the way it was my first time and I had a bad experience

The bus was clean, nice and warm. What I didn't like was the toilet which was not that much clean, no soap and little water coming out to wash your hands. At do santizer if they is no water.

The bus Arrived on time the drivers were very friendly

Ths bus was supposed to arrive at 6pm but no alao the driver was driving reckless all the way ans arrived 3 hours late at our destination

I booked my 2 boys 14 and 7 years old bus going to umtata ,the bus broke down just after 5 am till 14:30 the final manager to fix the bus and it stopped again just after Gcobo ,then they were transferred to taxis from Gcobo to umtata and the driver left them in the shell garage without even contacting the parent ,then I got a call from a stranger that was trying to help ,I won't use Makalana buses anymore I will recommend it to anyone

I enjoyed the bus was warm the entire night the drivers were friendly and it was very smooth on the road

My first time journey with Intercity was 👌 I really enjoyed the bus with caring drivers and am willing to use it on my next travel

Your service is very bad i took a bus from cape town 17:45 bus was arrived buy 19:00 iget home by 18:00 i don't think i will take intercity bus its better to go to taxi rank 🤞🤞🤞

They can't manage time. I was supposed to be at Mthatha by 9:30 a.m and the time is 18:09 p.m and I'm still heading to engcobo. Meaning I'll be at Mthatha by 8 p.m to 9 p.m. Horrible experience honestly.

I did not enjoy the trip at all it was horrible. A white bus with no name and not road worthy, risk of my life. The bus had bugs was smelly and also had mouse. The drivers were not even bothered, very bad service. I arrived at my destination more than 10 hours late with no heads up,apologies or any care from the company instead they dropped our calls when we tried to call stuck in Queenstown for about 4 hrs. I want to lay a formal complaint as well.

The standard of the bus is not what was promised, and we are still stuck in GraffReinet even now from 6 in the morning. The bus was late for the departure buy an hour and there was no communication whatsoever. Am very dissapointed and dissatisfied at the same time. It is my last time using your services.

Firstly there was no order on the que to check in the bags,too much confusion and that lead to the passengers to fight as the que instructors were confusing the passengees and mix up the ques.Bus delayed for an hour to arrive at the staition of depature,it also delayed about 3 hrs to areive to where I was going to.

Very terrible, firstly the bus arrived 3 hours late for pick-up. It broke down during the trip, had to wait an hour for another to arrive. The second one also broke down several times costing abous 3 hours of fixing. I wss to arrive by 09:10 but ended up arriving at around 18:30 at my destination. Secondly something was leaking on passengers from the Ac.

Did not like the fact that we made soo many stops to get the bus full and again we had to stop for an hour to wait for another bus for them to get to divide us according to our stops.😩😩

The was no charging places they weren’t working but at least the was a charging space in front , the people in the bus were so nice and kind especially the driver and others who were in charge of the bus , I enjoyed my trip

The bus didn't have a pleasant smell, it was stuffy and it smelt like pee. There were even cockroaches in the bus. The bus arrived and left late at the departure point. But along the road the driving was good.

I will never book Mavumisa even if it's R50 we were loaded in a small uncomfortable bus to take us to Laingnsburg where we waited for our for another bus. We supposed to be in Umthatha 10h30 in the morning but we reached there past 6 in the evening no more

Firstly I book the bus for 16h45 pm.The bus arrived at 20h25 pm.hrs I spent there with out information,no offices or representative to ask.When bus arrived the guy was helping there was arrogant,rude no manners,funny thing I paid R30 for my small bag weigh 7 kg.i was so surprised but since I wanted to go home I ignored everything.i regret to book Gxaweni.I will never ever book it again

Ad shows regular bus, but when arrive,it’s actually a smaller sprinter bus.Rather than that everything was fine

They cancelled the trip without notifying me , whereby I had to look for other options and to pay another amount

What I appreciate about Flexi City is that the bus arrived early at the pick up point, which was convenient.however, I was disappointed with several aspects of the service. The bus did not have a toilet as promised, nor was there a facility to charge my phone. In addition, the air conditioning was not working. Most concerning was that passengers were transferred to a taxi on two occasions, with the explanation that the bus needed to return to Cape Town. This significantly affected the overall travel experience.

It was awful,bad service,our bus was supposed to arrive at 7pm and it arrived at 11pm. We were then taken into Vigo vehicles instead of buses. I am very dissatisfied and won't use your services in the future.
