My seat as well as the people immediately around me's seats could not recline so the entire time I wasn't trying to stay awake I was very uncomfortable a couple of us tried to lay or heads on the side railing but that only gave relief for a few minutes until your head hurts from the hard material or your hands become numb. The silver lining is that my charging port worked. But my seat partner's did not so we shared. Also the extra money I had to pay for the weight of my 2 bags could have been smaller. Other than that I didn't really mind the 2 hour delay due to problems on the way. I really could have given 4 stars if it wasn't for the chairs which could not recline, it ruined the whole trip. I could also give 5 stars I if there was working WiFi.

I did not travel. My daughter got sick and I had no choice cancel the ticket which it didn't allow me to do it online and that what frustrated me the most. And I was far from your station phone calls not working. All I wanted was to change the place

We took the bus from Bloemfontein, first it arrived 45 minutes late, was supposed to reach the destination by 15:00, we had to drop the bus at Laingsburg and we took a hike because it was not going to make the time and we should have missed the cruise that I paid for
The bus is really comfortable, however my ticket showed that the bus will be going at 12:10 only to find out when I checked in the time of the bus is 01:10 am
The bus was delayed by an hour and it arrived nearly 2 hours late of departure time. When we got on the road we waited one extra hour at colesburg to swap drivers which lead to an even longer delay with the arrival time—leading to the bus arriving at 17:30pm when the advertised arrival time was 12:30, which I found extremely unacceptable because that is 5 hours later than the advertised arrival time.The bathroom had a terrible odour that would travel to the coaches downstairs. There were multiple cockroaches roaming around the coach and even crawling on onboard luggage and our bodies. The air conditioning was blowing warm air in this current heat wave weather which was extremely unpleasant amongst the previously mentioned issues. This meaning Greyhound is not only unprofessional in regards to time management but they are EXTREMELY unhygienic with the upkeep, or lack thereof, the coaches that they have advertised as ‘luxury’. I personally found nothing luxurious about having cockroaches crawling on my armrests, body and luggage.
