Bus from Bloemfontein to Johannesburg: Tickets & Schedules

We got stuck (tyire punch) 40min away from Johannesburg for loo long and i had to request a taxi so that I don't miss my next bus to Nelspruit

I was extremely dissatisfied waiting almost four hours for the bus. It was supposed to board at 7:30am but only arrived at 11:30am - totally unacceptable!

My experience with Intercape Mainliner Express was mixed. I enjoyed that the ticket was affordable and easy to book, and the bus itself was fairly comfortable for a long-distance trip. The driver was professional, and the journey felt generally safe. However, I didn’t enjoy the delays, as the bus departed later than scheduled and there was little communication about the reason. The cleanliness of the bus and toilet could also have been better, which made the long journey less comfortable. Overall, it was acceptable for budget travel, but the service could improve in terms of punctuality, communication, and hygiene.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the bus was late everything else was perfect

the bus was very big and very swinging, I didn't enjoy the bus door was noisey and the wind coming out from the driver's window was very cold .

It was 2 hours late, the guy called Thapelo from. Blomfontein bus station was so rude, the other driver exchange me telling me he does want me in his bus

I mostly dislike the lack of time keeping since the bus left an hour after its arranged time resulting to arriving late at our designated places, other than that it was all good.

The bus ride smooth i enjoyed it. We hit the cow just after offramping N1 into Vaal road, driver was ordered to stop at Vanderbijlpark bus stop and another bus was arranged from PTA to come fetch us. We were informed that it will be there within hour 30min jooo to our surprise it arrives 2 hours late than anticipated it was bad, your operation office are not hands on solving issues like that cos they were called and give us false information

The drivers kept the aircon on on the whole time and it only released cold air. The driver refused switching it off. The whole trip was cold.

The bus was supposed to arrive at 22:15 and it only came at 02:30, poor customer service I'm definitely not going to use it ever again!!

Firstly, i booked the wrong time for R860, immidiately when calling them to cancell, they never answer the calls till toda, i had to book another time, where i was supposed to depart bloemfonyein at 12h20 am, bus was far late and we departed at 01h40 am, it is completely not reliable, i have now R860 that they have to return back to me but they dont respond my calls, i dont know how will i get my monay, i even think to take them to xrepo to get to them.

Nothing, message was sent saying the bus will leave earlier, we got there and waited two hours for that bus

It was very economically costly for me,and extremely hot air-conditioning systems. I was scheduled to be in jhb at 1pm for an appointment and I failed to arrive even within business hours. The drivers were helpless with the air-conditioning,I can safely say,I wont be taking this bus anytime soon

The bus interior is clean, seats are comfortable. The bus was a bit late. Some passengers were occupying 2 seats while they paid for 1, making it difficult and very frustrating for incoming passengers to local a seat. Greyhound personnel did not have a good handle on the situation, causing further frustrations and delays.

Bad , the bus had a leakage of the aircon above my head n there was no other place to sit .. the bus seat was wet from the water dripping from the aircon , i arrived with wet pants at the station.. im extremely disappointed 😢

The bus was on time, the driver's were quick and the bus was clean. Overall it was a good experience except having to seat by the toilets which was stinky like any other toilet in any bus

The bus was late and there wasn’t toilet on the bus they later gave us the bus was small

I waited at the station for 4 hours. My bus was scheduled for 2:55am but we only left at 7:00am and on top of that we were switched to eagle liner which is not what we paid for. It had no bathroom and charging ports didn’t work. Horrendous service i got. Full compensation should be given.

Their service was terrible. The bus arrived 2 hours late. No communication from them. I wish I had went to the internet before booking, but lesson learned.

I did not get the bus, no communication, I waited for 3hours from 00:40 - 03:40, I had to go back home. I missed work due to that.

We arrived safely without accidents. Poor Service, the bus was arrived 3hrs late, no notification, office and cell number says the number does not exist. The bus was full, my two elderly sisters did not have sitting space, we had to negotiate with passengers with children and they carried the children on their laps from Bloemfontein to Joburg. The bus was dirty and invested with roaches. The bus drivers were not easily identifiable and they did not have uniform or anyform of identity so that was unsettling as they dressed their style which did not give me comfort. We were not asked for tickets, and I think there may have been illegal passengers thus the overload. Our bags were not tagged for passenger ID, anyone could easily take the wrong bag. The driver just opend the bag storage and told people to grab their bags. The bus service is is not customer orientated, they need serious change management.

The Tourist Centre at Bloem is dirty, scruffy and definitely NOT Covid safe, as I explained above. There is also not nearly enough seating available inside or outside - especially if it is raining. Your buses are 5 star and this depot is 1 star!!

Firstly, the bus delayed and that was in-convincing. Secondly, it happened that one of the passengers mistakenly locked the bathroom door from the outside and everyone couldn’t use the toilet because apparently it can only be opened in the depot

Clean and on time. They advertise wifi but could not log on to network. Supplying passengers with wifi codes and passwords will be a good idea.

I wasted my money with booking that bus, it didn't arrive and when I call their offices it's not getting through.

I waited for the bus 2 hours from the expected departure time and ended up taking a taxi because I was tired of waiting and I was feeling cold at the same time.

The bus was 3hours late. The drivers drove under pressure which led them pass straight on the potholes causing us feels unsettled. The drivers were good however not accurate with time
