The staff don't make any announcement to make people be quiet on the bus. There were very loud and rude. And a 65 years old kept touching me inappropriately. "I kept telling him to please scoot over." It's the 3rd time he sits next to me. I wish they had designated seats for the passenger.
I was assured there will be outlets and Wi-Fi on the bus. There was neither. I couldn’t charge my phone or turn on a light and Wi-Fi was impossible. We arrived an hour and 40 minutes later than advertised time.
The worsts bus to take from GWB New York . I been disappointed so many times . I was suppose to be refunded for two tickets and i never did. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to take this bus. They are always late.
I am glad i decided to take greyhound it brought me right into hartford I was happy that i did not have to carry all those bags from the terminal to the bus like i would of did if i would of took the metro north the driver was very smooth for a lady and got me there in time so i can caught a cab to get to work on time which i got there on time thanks greyhound.
Compared to the previous experience I had, this trip was a dream. From what I can tell, bus services are hit or miss when it comes to customer satisfaction. I was grateful, after a long day in the city, that our driver was kind, calculated and informative.
The bus doesn’t take the short route. It sticks to the route the driver is used to and not leverage any google maps to see if any traffic. Going to Hartford and back, both times the expected time was 2.45hrs and it took more than 4 hours each time. It was pathetic.
Bus was almost an hour late and then the driver detoured into jersey instead of making a straight shot to Hartford. We were at GWB, Should have been 2 hours flat, ended up taking closer to 3 and he claimed it was cause of traffic. There was no traffic, it was 9:30 pm on a Tuesday. On top of all of that the bathroom on the bus was out of order. Worst bus experience I’ve had maybe ever.
