Bus from Johannesburg to East London: Tickets & Schedules

I loved that the charging ports were there and the seats were comfortable. If maybe we can either have less breaks or shorter breaks to stick to the predicted arrival time

It was very good

They are not time cautious always late and no updates also l feel the stops are just too many especially the last stop when going to Joburg

My experience was very good, the drivers are very nice bt the issue of type C to C charging points that are sometimes not working is the problem

Bus left the station by 19:28 instead of 19:30, so the bus left me and when i enquire with their office the lady was just eating the pie not attending to my complain.

The driver were friendly and gave clear instructions about use of the toilet in the bus. The trip was safe

Driver was to chilled when driving. He was not giving us enough time to buy kuma stop.

The bus left the station late. On the way, the bus drivers were very slow with pick-up at other stations. We arrived at our destination 3 hours late and no one cared. The seating arrangements were fine though, and the drivers were very nice even though they didn't keep time.

I know the leakage problem was probably beyond the driver's control however the 2 hours delay did cause an inconvenience to some of us however I do like the fact that the driver communicated with us and we did not have much of a choice but to wait for another bus to take us to EL and the driver tried atleast to cover up I thought we will arrive in East London at 12pm however we arrived at 10h15.

The bus had machenical problems bus was late arrived at 8 pm landed 4 hours late absolute disaster no aircon

I enjoyed the trip the drivers drove very wèll i was satissfied with everything it was pefect, i loved the toilet it was clean and nice

Not good. Seats where cramped and the bus was almost 2 hours late. Unruly passagers throwing food on tbe floor becouse no place set or refuse bags given to discard rubbish.

It was very very bad..the bus delayed..suppose to lend here in joburg at quarter past 6..but we lend here at 9 o'clock.. I will never book that bus again..

The only thing that botheredbmebwas, "the bus was cold, no heater" other than that everything was fine

I enjoyed everything about intercity, the bus is clean, warm and drives smoothly. The drivers are friendly and helpful. It's also very punctual.

I enjoyed the service it was superb, I was only unhappy about charging the Phone.

The bus was horribly damaged and dirty. My seat was broken. The charging port was not working. There was no toilet. But in the ticket it stated we are travelling in luxury. What we were travelling in was not even close to luxury

Im very happy to use delta even the drive are good .every station are talk to us they said anyone like to toilet or shop are welcome

I didn’t enjoy anything the bus took 17hours drive , the bus door broke we were feeling cold all night I regret choosing it I will never again.

The Trip as very bad. I was supposed to be in East london. 9 am., it is 13:26 now I'm till in he bus

Everything is bad the bus is suppose to arrive around 9am it's now 16:22 now I'm still on thee road and going on cumpus to register for A res ,worst experience ever the toilet on the bus is blocked

Very dissapointed the bus was suppose to arrive at 09:00 am and its still 13:00 we haven't made it to East London I am on the way as we speak

​I booked a ticket with Citilink expecting a Citilink bus, but upon arrival, I was put on a Freeway Coaches bus instead. There was no prior notification, explanation, or apology provided for this sudden change. ​The conditions inside the bus were unacceptable: ​Comfort & Space: The seats were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The seating arrangement was severely cramped with virtually no legroom or space between seats, forcing passengers to squeeze against one another for the entire trip. ​Timeliness: The service was unprofessional regarding schedules. The bus departed late and arrived long after the scheduled arrival time. ​Journey: The delay was made worse by numerous unnecessary stops along the route. ​When passengers pay for a specific brand's service, they expect that standard of quality and clear communication if changes occur. I am very disappointed with this experience and would not recommend booking through Citilink based on this trip.

Their bus didn’t arrive they hired a am bus with very uncomfortable seats and the bus kept giving us problems along the way .

I am very displeased the bus left us at queenstown and it was said that another one to East London is coming we waited for 2 hours until we decided to use our own money and go with a taxi which is a loss at our side since we ended up spending another R350

Very disappointed not only did the bus leave late at the station, it also arrived late at my final destination

The driver was helpful as I was using the bus for the first time and the location dropping off from.

Greyhound bus that I used did not get a proper service which I suspect its reason why it got stuck in the middle of the robot causing an obstruction in the road in queenstown eastern cape

Service excellent, but less hygienic

My mom couldn't get the bus,she was given other bus...the departure was late the buses

bus had links inside while it was raining making our ride for the long distance very uncomfortable

The waiting for another bus to transfer the passengers to it is wasting King , EL route passengers then getting to experience a bus going inside Mdantsane to Sasol garage at Unit 13 another delay hle for EL destination passengers

Not to mix towns and to stick to time schedule
