Very disappointed in the overall experience. The bus arrived late in PMB, then broke down in PMB. Had to wait for more than 2 hours before repairs were made and the bus was able to leave PMB. As a result, the bus arrived in Jhb more than 3 hours after it was scheduled to arrive. The bus was very full, hot and had an unpleasant smell.
It was exciting to book the Citiliner bus, but I didn't realize it took so many routes. Being in places I've never been was exciting, but the staff should at least inform passengers where the bus will stop. There was even a moment when I panicked that I was on the wrong bus, that's funny. I don't think it's right that some passengers book online and do not appear on the printed list, because when passengers book a bus, the next of kin contact information is included. If the name is not on the list, how will staff members know who the contact is? I think the list should be printed the latest time before the trip when everyone is confirmed. Even though the trip was unexpectedly long, I personally enjoy travelling, so it was fun for me. Just like in the Gautrain, inform passengers where the bus will stop next time. Otherwise, many thanks, Cililiner for the beautiful tour.
Very poor service it took me my child 13 and half hours and some your staff members where rude it never taken me 13 and half to get to Johannesburg in my life and .Should really think about fixing your bus please it was horrible
1. The bus arrived an hour late in Pietermaritzburg.
2. When it left Pietermaritzburg, it got a mechanical error leading to us being stuck in the middle of nowhere for 5 hours in Estcourt waiting for another bus from Johannesburg to fetch us. Bad service it was.
The bus was a no show. It didn't arrive and when I called thecall centre baout 15 times, they were not answering the calls. When they eventually did answer, they said they were making arrangements. I had to make other travel plans. So disappointed.
