Bus from Cape Town to Midrand: Tickets & Schedules

Bitterly disappointed with the service. Suffered a breakdown twice and bus was also filthy with toilet reeking of urine. Sorry to say but never again

That's the worst trip ever, we left the station an hour late then before even 50kms we were told the bus has no brakes we had to disembark from the bus and wait for another hour for another bus,, INTERCAPE IS THE WORST WILL NEVER EVER BOARD IT AGAIN

Much better than other bus services, they were on time, bus was clean also, will definitely use them again

very poor services! the bus was an hour delayed because drivers took to long breaks , that made me miss my next connecting bus ! When I told them that I need to catch another bus they laughed in my face . This isn’t the first time that this happened. Very bad of greyhound.

The trip was excellent. The bus arrived on time at the pick up point in Bellville and drove very well all the way to midrand. Something to look at on a lighter note: 1. There is something wrong with the bus when changing gears. It feels like the bus is struggling.

Everything was good, it arrived a bit late though but overall everything was okay

I booked Eagleliner but I was made to wait for 13:30 Intercity bus that took all the routes

Bus was suppose to be there 5:30 and only came 6:30 . No toilet on board even though when we booked it showed toilet , now this is important cause my girlfriend is pregnant. We had to get off every 2/3 hours for her to go to toilet . She even threw up a few times and it was hard with no toilet . Bus was also delayed between 5-7 cause of bus overheating. Our trip was supposed to be 17 hours and 30 mins it ended up almost being 24 hours !!! Absolutely ridiculous . No port was working so phones were dead . I honestly don’t know what we paid for … But never ever again.Oh and the one guy was so rude taking the bags and told us we must give R50 we asked for what and he didn’t want to load my luggage. It all had tags on from inside. We booked a flight back now and will never ever do this again especially this bus line

Intercity Xpress is a good bus. The drivers are also good. I only wish they can keep the arrival time.

I didnt enjoy the trip, bus broke down, got home very late and the bus drivers didnt communicate anything with us.

It’s very sad to drive in a bus with 60 passengers,no windows and the air conditioning is switch off,not broken…switch OFF.preference to one of the drivers-the older gentleman man of the two.disappointing.

Where to start ! It was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. Bus was very late for pickup as in very late. My ticket said I could have 20kg luggage, but they charged me 200 for a bag that was 18kg’s cause apparently it was overweight for local transportation 😹😹😹.The seats were torn like literally a hole on the seat.From the time we departed, this bus was making a weird sound and something was definitely wrong but they drove us anyways! We reached Bloemfontein and then they told us the bus ran out of air and the mechanic could reach us in the next 6 HOURS! Yoh . Now imagine we’re already behind time , overcharged on luggage and stranded. We waited and waited till we started looking for taxi’s to get home . This was such a terrible experience shame

The bus has a breakdown in the middle of nowhere im hungry tired and i will be proceding with my jounery tonighy my other bus will leave before i get to johansberg

Terrible experience. The bus never showed up. And I waited all day and night. The operators were rude on the phone and hung up when trying to get information.

We delayed in Bloemfontein but they were fixing the aircon other than that everything was fine
